Personal Description

I describe myself as a person set to continuous improvement. I believe that only way to improve is through training and study. I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in three years while working and near my forties. I recently qualified QQI Manual Handling instructor and also completed the IPA course on Irish Standards for Rented Houses.
I am also a writer with a novel and some stories, and co-author of two books on football management.

Career

I am an experienced Building Surveyor with a Honours Bachelor’s Degree in administrative law at Turin University. I am currently part of the BS and Assigned Certifier team at AECOM Ireland, and I have previously managed my own business in B2B and B2C environments for fifteen years.
Mi technical background formerly only in constructions spreads now in administrative law, occupational health and safety, buildings regulation, public economy and in IT web designing and developing.
I am active member of SCSI (Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland) and also Member of RICS, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. I have published some technical articles and I am a former member of AGEFIS workshop.
Furthermore I have qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (under Italian and Irish law), and BER Assessor (under Italian law).
During my career, due to my experience as Front End Web Developer and digital savvy, I acted as change manager in digital transformation for companies in Italy, Ireland and UK.
Between 2019 and 2021 I was QHSE manager for Ireland and UK for an English innovative wall insulation manufacturer and installer.

Private life

In my personal sphere I am regional commissioner of Panathlon International, an International association of sportsmen recognized by CIO with the purpose of spreading fair play and good practices in sport. I also create websites, most of them pro-bono for different charities.
I like running and I used to be American Football player and youth coach.
